To prove a a party breached or violated a contract, you must prove:
1. a valid and enforceable contract;
2. privity between the parties;
3. one party performed its obligations under the contract;
4. one party did not perform it obligations under the contract; and
5. damages.
You must also file your lawsuit within applicable statute of limitations.
